Matthew spent most of the day at Children's Hospital having his routine blood work done. He is becoming accustomed to the needles and pokes and now says "it's a piece of cake". Unfortunately Matthew's MRI was rescheduled until May 16Th. He will have the port inserting procedure tomorrow at Children's Hospital in preparation for Chemotherapy. It will take several weeks to heal and then we begin the next long journey of this fight. With God in front of us, I am confident we will prevail. Please pray that all goes well tomorrow and that Matthew's recovery from this procedure will be fast and as painless as possible.
We would like to extend our gratitude to Dave & Dianna Barnette for your contribution and for your hard work in organizing a fundraiser to benefit Matthew. Your generosity is truly appreciated. It is these gestures of LOVE that make this journey more tolerable to endure.
