Matthew continued feeling ill today. He was unable to begin Chemotherapy as planned. His appointment has been rescheduled for tomorrow. Matthew spent the day lounging around and attempting to recuperate. We are praying that Matthew will begin to feel better soon. We believe that much of his vomiting is stemmed from a virus seeing as his sister and others in the house are feeling ill as well. Each person finding a slow road to recovery from this virus. Matthew spirits remain high and he looks forward to the upcoming Spring Festival Event where we will sell his personally designed T-shirts and wristbands, along with food concessions. We pray for a great result to such a wonderful effort by Friends and Neighbors. We are truly blessed by such godly support.

Matthew's Quote:" He is just drawn to me when I walk in the room", as he talks about his baby cousin Henry Allen, and I explained to Matthew that everyone who has ever met him felt the same. He smiled!!

Just out of curiosity. Has anyone suggested nutritional supplements that may help with maintaining Matthew's immune defenses while he goes through chemotherapy. One such supplement is olive leaf extract (either as a pill or you can use the leaves to make a tea). There is a book called "Olive Leaf Extract" by Dr. Morton Walker (D.P.M.) with a forward by Dr. Josseph J. Territo (M.D.). It is something you might want to discuss with your doctors. There are also other natural supplements that may help with the illness that results from chemotherapy. Just something to consider if you have'nt already.
