Matthew was happy to arrive in South Carolina last night. Today he spent his morning by the creek listening to the birds sing to him. He was loving his view of beautiful flowers and decided the orange flowers were the prettiest in the garden. Matthew was happy to have his heart monitor wires removed though a little painful, as usual he "Just DEALT with it". Matthew will need continued monitoring by his team of doctors at Children's in regards to his newly discovered heart condition. We have been assured that the condition is manageable and does not cause an immediate threat; however, it is just one more challenge Matthew must face. He remains positive and is eager to embark on his week filled with adventure beginning tomorrow at 2:00pm, Thanks to Andy's Special Friends Foundation. He has truly been blessed with this opportunity.
