Matthew continued to have a good day with reduced vomiting. Even in his weakened state his spirits are high and is looking forward to his upcoming benefit dinner being held on June 8. He was pleased to receive his first Beanie hat to begin his collection.

March 31
The site was down for a few days so we had not been able to place an update on the website. Today Matthew is having a great morning and had a night free from vomiting (YEAH)! Days prior Matthew was having a very difficult time with vomiting and fatigue. He has almost completely lost all of his hair so Beanie caps are in high demand. Matthew continues to fight hard and refuses to give in or give up. He is determined to win this fight. Today he is very alert and is making jokes and has a phistiness that is wonderful to see. Matthew recently proposed the MATTHEW CHALLENGE, he has started charging a dollar for every "Curse word" anyone says. His challenge to others is to collect a dollar in a jar for every curse word you say and see how much you collect. His jar will be for a Wish trip to Disney World and the way we are going we will help him get there fast (Lol).
Matthew's Quote for yesterday: "I'm not going down without a fight DAMN IT",after receiving a permission slip from dad to vent .

March 28 (Thank You Stonewall Family)
Matthew had an eventful day including radiation treatment and an MRI. We received good news regarding his MRI results. The tumors have not grown in size and seem to be responding well to the treatment. Matthew also visited his Stonewall Jackson Family at the Talent Show tonight. Matthew wanted to express his gratitude to everyone for all that they have done and continue to do. Despite his fatigue, he felt a very strong desire to make an appearance to thank all the members of the Caring for Costis committee, students and staff at Stonewall Jackson.
Matthew's Quote for the day, "Thank you for all you have done and I am going to get better". Thumbs Up!!!

March 27
Matthew continued Radiation Treatment today and took his weekly trip to Children's Hospital to visit his team of Doctors. An MRI has been scheduled for tomorrow and we pray for good results. Matthew spent much of the day napping but woke to sing "Happy Birthday" to his Father. He continues to lose hair but is hoping to start a new trend in hair fashion by the summer! Who's willing to shave their head for Matthew? Matthew's quote for the day," I'm not ready to die anytime soon, I've got places to go and people to see."
